I need to read the first 70 pages of Gravity's Rainbow for the first meet up this Sunday. Excerpt from Wikipedia: "the three-member Pulitzer Prize jury on fiction supported Gravity's Rainbow for the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1974. However, the other eleven members of the board overturned this decision, branding the book unreadable, turgid, overwritten".
Going to hop, skip, jump to Daunt to locate a turgid copy now!
