Last week after a canal trip with the Architecture Centre network, I walked the Greenway to see the Olympic Park. Cranes, bulldozers, and an invisible timer clicking away to 2012 as you would expect. Surprisingly, there was a man in his late 70s with oil paints and an easel, swirling colours to document the scene. I forgot my camera so I couldn't document him documenting the bustle of construction.
He has a bit of time to finish his painting.
And I have time to say hello.
